Yoonsik Chico Park (b. 1998, Seoul; lives and works in Abu Dhabi) materializes contradictions in and of human existence through performance, sculpture, installation, image, and text. His works quietly interrogate socio-cultural entanglements through the frameworks of remembrance and witnessing, employing everyday spaces, found object, ritual, and gesture.

Yoonsik’s group exhibitions include Bygones, Project Space, NYUAD Art Gallery, Abu Dhabi, UAE (2025); Form 2024, CICA Museum, Gimpo, Republic of Korea (2024); ArtHaus, 526 W 114th St., Agora Digital Network, NYC, USA (2022). He has also presented practice-based research and screened his performances at Performance Studies international (PSi) 29, London, UK (2024); and College Art Association (CAA), 112th Annual Conference, Chicago, USA (2024).

Yoonsik is a recipient of the Salama bint Hamdan Emerging Artist Fellowship (2024), NYU Abu Dhabi’s Post-Graduation Research Fellowship (2023), and holds a BA in Philosophy from NYU Abu Dhabi (2023) where he studied Philosophy & Theater.
